Snake Plants are the easiest care plants around and are also great additions for layering your plant collection and in low light areas where other plants have not done well.

Light: 

  • Tolerant of a variety of light conditions, including low light and some direct sun
  • Will grow best in bright, indirect light

Water: 

  • Does not need much water
  • Water roughly 1-2 times a month depending on lighting conditions 
  • Too much water will cause branches to rot and flop

Humidity

  • No humidity necessary 

Soil Type: 

  • Requires a free-draining soil mix to prevent root rot; a course cactus mix will suffice 

Toxicity Level: 

  • Mildly toxic to animals and people

Additional Information:

  • Very hearty plants that do not need much care to do well - make for a great housewarming gift, beginner plant, and office plant
