Delivery Options

We are committed to our community's health and are working to offer you a variety of options for purchasing plants while strictly abiding with health orders. We currently offer: In store shopping & Store Pickup (Wed - Sun), Daily Local Delivery (Wed - Sun), Bay Area-wide Weekend Delivery, and California-wide Shipping.

 In Store Shopping & Store Pickup (Wed-Sun)

  • Open Wed-Fri 12-3pm, and Sat-Sun 1-4pm.
  • Ready within 1 hr during business hours. Orders placed Mon & Tues that select Curbside Pickup will be available for pickup Weds at 12:30am.
  • No order minimum. 
    COVID Pickup Process: We make every effort to follow health orders and ask that you do too. Pickup is contactless. We wear masks and gloves while handling your items. We ask that you wear a mask when picking up your goods. When you arrive, please have your order confirmation and ID. 

    Daily Local Delivery - $5 

    • Delivered on the day of your choice Weds - Sun between 3pm-7pm. Orders must be placed by 3pm daily for same day delivery.
    • For residents of Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, El Cerrito, Albany, Emeryville, and Kensington.
    • $30 min order

    COVID Delivery Process: In keeping with best practices from the CDC, plants will be transported in a sanitized section of the delivery vehicle. We will leave the plant(s) at your doorstep, and we ask that you meet us curbside if you live in an apartment complex, in keeping with best practices for social distancing, and we will text you when we arrive.

    Bay Area-wide Weekend Delivery - $5

    COVID Delivery Process: In keeping with best practices from the CDC, plants will be transported in a sanitized section of the delivery vehicle. We will leave the plant(s) at your doorstep, and we ask that you meet us curbside if you live in an apartment complex, in keeping with best practices for social distancing, and we will text you when we arrive.

      California-wide Shipping 

      • 1-3 day USPS shipping across California, no order minimums.
        • Most counties in California accept plant deliveries, however due to Agricultural quarantines (non-COVID related), rarely, a county will not allow us to ship plants. In that case, we will cancel and refund your order before it is shipped.
        • Plants in 2", 4", and 6" pots are eligible for shipping. If you would like to ship a larger plant, please contact us directly for availability and shipping costs.

      Order Fulfillment

      Items on our website are in stock unless marked "pre-order." Regardless of shipping speed or delivery time, orders will be fulfilled in the order they are received.

      • Store pick-up - In stock orders usually fulfill within 1 hour during store hours.
      • Local DeliveryIn stock orders fulfill within 24 hours for local delivery.
      • USPS Shipping - In stock orders fulfill Mon-Thurs within 24 hours for shipping. Orders placed after Wednesday are held for shipping on Monday to avoid weekend delays.
      • Pre-Order - We offer a selection of items for "pre-order" on our website. This means that the plants are not in stock in our store, but are available in our warehouse or from our suppliers. When we receive a "pre-order," we pick it especially for you, and set up delivery based on your delivery selection. If items sell out or are not available within 1 week, your order will be cancelled and refunded. We will, however, contact you if the item becomes available the following week.

      Shipping & Plant Health

      • Plants don't like being in boxes, which is why we only ship fast & in CA, straight from our store in Berkeley. This way your plants will never be damaged by cross-country weather fluctuations, be in transit for too long, or arrive in poor health.  
      • We make every effort to make sure your plants arrive healthy and ready for you to add to your collection, even so, shipping them will often cause some slight imperfections or occasional leaf damage that will not interfere with the health of your plant. We encourage you to unbox and water your new plants as soon as they arrive.
      • While we do not accept returns of plants, your satisfaction is the most important thing to us. If you have any problems with your order, or items arrive damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.
