Pothos

Pothos are great houseplants for beginners and collectors alike! They are easy to care for and can develop giant beautifully fenestrated leaves over time with humidity and light.


Popular varieties include: Golden, Njoy, Neon, Marble, Silver Splashshop all Pothos.


Light: 

  • Darker foliaged varieties like the Jades and Goldens can tolerate low light conditions
  • Variegated and neon varieties need at least medium light conditions to maintain coloration
  • Thrives in bright, but indirect light

Water: 

  • Let soil dry a couple inches between waterings 
  • Does not like sitting in wet soil
  • Water roughly every 10-14 days depending on size of the pot 

Humidity

  • Humidity is not necessary for survival but it is beneficial 

Soil Type: 

  • Tolerant of most soil types as long as it is well draining 

Toxicity Level: 

  • Toxic to animals 

Additional Information:

  • Glossy leaves tend to collect dust - wipe with a wet microfiber cloth or soft duster monthly 
  • Golden and white variegated varieties will revert back to green if the light is too low

East-facing light is low to moderate light for plants. We highly recommend supplementing with grow lights for any plants you place away from your East-facing window.

North-facing Light

North-facing light is the lowest light possible for plants. In low light plants need less water and can be difficult to care for. We highly recommend supplementing with grow lights for any plants you place away from your North-facing window.
