Yucca are great adaptable plants that can be indoors or out. Shop all Yucca.


Light: 

  • Bright, filtered light or direct sun

Water: 

  • Drought tolerant and does not require much water 
  • Stores all of its water in the thick trunk; over-watering will cause rot and mushy or yellowing leaves 
  • Water roughly once (max twice) a month

Humidity

  • Average household humidity is fine

Soil Type: 

  • Needs a free draining substrate like a cactus and succulent mix 

Toxicity Level: 

  • Toxic to animals and people 

Additional Information:

  • Native to deserts where temperatures can reach above 90 degrees and down to the 30s at night, so it is relatively adaptable
