Plumosa Fern Care

Plumosa Ferns are delicately beautiful climbing plants. Unlike other ferns, this plant is not a true fern and is toxic to pets.

Light:

  • Prefers medium to bright indirect light, no direct sun; sun will burn delicate foliage

  • Water roughly once a week

Humidity

  • Prefers a high humidity environment; mist daily for best results

Soil Type:

  • Needs airy, well draining soil; roots need a lot of air
  • 1-1-1 potting soil, sand and peat moss or coco coir

Toxicity Level:

  • Toxic to animals

Additional Information:

  • Not a true fern, so has some different requirements
