Ivy Care

Ivy are easy to care for houseplants that come in a variety of sizes and variegation patterns. They are often used for topiaries, terrarium projects, and living walls.


Popular varieties include: Algerian, Needlepoint, English, shop all Ivy

Light: 

  • Medium light conditions
  • Variegated or neon varieties need slightly more light 
  • No direct light 

 Water: 

  • Like to stay on the dry side  
  • Let  soil dry at least an inch before watering 

Humidity

  • Average household humidity is fine

Soil Type: 

  • Requires fast draining, fertile soil
  • Indoor potting mix with perlite and a dusting of worm castings on top  

Toxicity Level: 

  • Toxic to animals 

Additional Information:

  • Likes to be fertilized monthly during spring and summer
  • Semi drought tolerant
