Lead Head Glass terrariums are handcrafted out of reclaimed glass from deconstructed homes in Detroit. We model our terrariums after 19th century Wardian Cases, with an updated design. The Wardian case was originally used to transport exotic plants around the globe, and is an ideal environment to raise your own miniature garden in. Every Lead Head Glass Terrarium is made to order,and as unique as the glass it comes from. We only use responsibly sourced materials from hand deconstructed homes.

- Delivery within 7 days of purchase and will not be scheduled, we'll text you when we're on our way and drop off your items to your doorstep. We drop off your order when we're already in your area, which helps us reduce our carbon emissions.

California-wide Shipping
- 1-3 day USPS shipping across California, no order minimums.
- Most counties in California accept plant deliveries, however due to Agricultural quarantines (non-COVID related), rarely, a county will not allow us to ship plants. In that case, we will cancel and refund your order before it is shipped.
- Plants in 2", 4", and 6" pots are eligible for shipping. If you would like to ship a larger plant, please contact us directly for availability and shipping costs.

Plants don't like being in boxes, which is why we only ship fast & in CA, straight from our store in Berkeley. This way your plants will never be damaged by cross-country weather fluctuations, be in transit for too long, or arrive in poor health.

We make every effort to make sure your plants arrive healthy and ready for you to add to your collection, even so, shipping them will often cause some slight imperfections or occasional leaf damage that will not interfere with the health of your plant. We encourage you to unbox and water your new plants as soon as they arrive.

While we do not accept returns of plants, your satisfaction is the most important thing to us. If you have any problems with your order, or items arrive damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.

Plant sizes (like 4in Calathea) refer to the diameter of the pot size they are sold in. Our plants are most often available in 2in, 4in, 6in, 8in, and 10in, pot sizes.
- 2in plants are seedlings and require extra care because they are in a delicate stage of their life.
- 4in plants are young plants that are well established, but small in size, depending on the species, they range from 3-8in high. A great budget option, or if you like to raise your plants on your own.
- 6in plants are young adult plants that are established, mature, and great for a table top centerpiece. Usually 5-12in tall or wide depending on the species.
- 8in plants are larger, more presence-full plants, great for larger spaces, or to give your home a more jungle vibe. Usually 12in-24in tall
- 10in - Monstera and Ficus plants usually come in 10in size. A ficus in a 10in pot will usually be like a little tree size from 3-4ft tall. Monstera in this size will be 2-3ft tall and have split leaves at this age.
